What is your service agreement all about?
Our most popular service agreement includes twice a year inspections of your heating and cooling system. We will customize an agreement for you should you have special needs. For example: You have 14 foot high ceilings and that’s where your builder in his wisdom decided to place the air filters that you would like to change out or clean more often than twice a year, and you are not especially fond of heights. As always there is no fee or obligation for an estimate for any special needs that you may have. Call or contact us to schedule a time for your free estimate.
How often should I change my air filters?
Wow. This could easily be the #1 question of all time and the answers you may have received in the past, were probably something like: once a month, once every three months or even longer in between, with a certain type of air filter. While those people were well intentioned, and that answer was probably correct in most situations, the fact of the matter is this: There is no common time frame that meets or serves the needs of all homes and lifestyles, especially when you are using a basic air filter. You may have a pet that just can’t wait until tomorrow let alone next month, to share a little more of their furry coat with you. Pleasant Air specializes in providing you with an air filtration system that will best suit your needs and assure you of a healthier indoor environment.
What is your service and repair warranty?
Pleasant Air warranties all repairs made by us for at least ninety days, and longer in certain situations.
What does SEER mean?
SEER is an acronym for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio which is defined by the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute in its standard ARI 210/240, Performance Rating of Unitary Air-Conditioning and Air-Source Heat Pump. Other acronyms that are closely related include; EER, COP and HSPF. We will address all these terms in a future blog issue, so bookmark us and return for the latest information. The Bottom Line is this; the higher the unit’s SEER rating the more energy efficient it is.
