Inspection Plans and Maintenance Contracts

We offer annual inspections and semi annual inspections (spring and fall). Parts and labor will be extra. Contracts cover electric heat pumps, water-source heat pumps, ground-source heat pumps, electric air-conditioners and gaspack equipment. Humidifiers are not covered by contracts but can be serviced extra.

We service all manufacturers.

Semi-annual Inspections include the following:

 

Cooling:
  •  
 Check refrigerant charge

 
  •  
 Check air filters, clean if necessary

 
  •  
 Check indoor and outdoor coils, clean if necessary

 
  •  
 Check electrical connections

 
  •  
 Check running voltage

 
  •  
 Check and flush condensate drain

 
  •  
 Inspect contactor points

 
  •  
 Inspect capacitors

 
  •  
 Check running amperages of motors and compressor

 
  •  
 Check temperature split across evaporator coil

 


Heating:
  •  
 Check refrigerant charge

 
  •  
 Check air filters, clean if necessary

 
  •  
 Check coils, clean if necessary

 
  •  
 Check electrical connections

 
  •  
 Check voltage and amperage of motors and compressor

 
  •  
 Lubricate fan motors

 
  •  
 Check fan blades for tightness

 
  •  
 Check amp draw of electric heaters

 
  •  
 Check 1st stage heating

 
  •  
 Check 1st and 2nd stage heating

 
  •  
 Check low temperature cut off

 
  •  
 Check defrost initiation and termination
